Honda honors Michelin among top parts suppliers

Honda North America Inc. Recently honored Michelin North America with a top supplier award for 2022. Michelin was among 54 North American suppliers honored for "outstanding performance" in supplying the company with parts and materials in face of many challenges. Honda said it does business with 702 OEM suppliers across North America, which provide parts to the company's 13 plants in the region. Honda purchased nearly $27 billion in parts from North American suppliers in 2022, which supported the sales of more than one million Honda and Acura vehicles. Michelin is one of six tire suppliers to Honda. It has an estimated share of Honda's OE tire business of more than 25%.
